Just a reminder: HES picture retakes are tomorrow, October 15th.

Pumpkins are arriving here in the library! They are super cute! Please have them submitted by Friday morning at 8:00am!
How To Enter
Transform a pumpkin into a favorite book character! You could also create a pumpkin to represent a whole book or honor reading in general. There are tons of ideas online to help get you going!
Pumpkins should not be carved, but tiny piercings with pins should be okay. Faux pumpkins may be submitted.
Entries can be brought to the library beginning Oct 13th, after fall break. Projects must fit in a grocery bag if being taken on the bus. Entries are due by 8:00am on Oct 16th.
Please do not send a copy of the book from which your character is taken as sometimes pumpkins leak, and they have ruined students' personal books in the past. There will be an entry card to identify the character or book.
Pumpkins can be taken home by students or picked up Friday, Oct 23rd. All projects remaining after the 23rd, at the end of the day, will be tossed.
Judging and Prizes
All participants will receive Bulldog Points!
You can vote for your favorite pumpkin when visiting the library. Voting begins Oct. 19th, and ends Thursday Night after the Fall Literacy Night.
Winners will be announced on Friday morning. There will be one winner for each grade level (Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th). Winners will receive a library prize grab bag!

This is our final night. We are so close! Please share with friends and family. Every dollar helps...we only need $1500!
