Happy Summer so far! For those that were accepted for STEM camp you should have received a reminder with your student already. Just in case, STEM camp starts tomorrow from 8:30-12. Breakfast will be provided each day. See you soon!
Heartland Families,
Reading throughout the summer will keep you prepared for the new school year. Attached is a suggested reading list for the upcoming grade level. These books are suggested reads and include some popular, age-appropriate author suggestions!
Track your reading minutes at https://bit.ly/hesreadinglog
When you return to school in August we will have a reward for participating in the summer reading!
A great place to find books to read can be found at https://www.getepic.com/, your home collection, or the public library. The public library offers summer reading programs! Contact the Hardin Co. Public Library to find out more, 270-769-6637 or visit http://www.hcpl.info/. Also, stop by our Heartland Little Library for some free books, or visit our FRYSC First Connections Little Library located at College View Campus.
Also, students will have access to their Clever Account this summer. They can go through Clever to access their i-Ready accounts.
Students can log their minutes by completing the log at https://bit.ly/HESiReady. We encourage 30 minutes per subject each week. A reward will be given to those students who complete i-Ready minutes, and this log over the summer!
