We are so excited for the first full week of school. Few reminders: * we start morning drop offs in the drop off line tomorrow * clear water bottles only *tennis shoes are preferred This information can be found in our parent/student handbook which will be sent out tomorrow.

New mulch for the playground is here and we could use some help getting all this mulch on to the playground.

We are so excited to see all of our Heartland Bulldogs tomorrow!

Remember bus riders will dismiss at 1:15PM and car riders at 1:45PM

Doors will open at 7:10AM if you would like to walk your child to class.

If y our child will be riding the bus in the morning please try to be out waiting. It will take our drivers a few days to get used to their routes.

All students will have access to free breakfast and free lunch again this school year. However, each family is still required to complete a Household Income Form to maintain accurate data as a requirement for state and federal funding. You can find the form at this link: https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application

Free lunches are provided through a program called the Community Elgibility Provision (CEP). The continuation of CEP is dependendent on the number of school meals served. We encourage all students to participate in school lunch and school breakfast as much as possible!

The HCS Back to School Fests are next week!!! We can't wait to see our students and families. If you can't attend the Back to School Fest for your school, you are welcome to attend any of the three!

Here is some important information regarding Open Enrollment:

* Open Enrollment for parents of children enrolling in school for the first time, transferring to another school in the district (except for the natural elementary-to-middle or middle-to-high school transistions) or for those who plan to attend a new school.
