Reach out regarding instruction for tomorrow and Tuesday.

We are trying for fire drill between 1 and 1:15 .
We are going to reschedule today's classified meeting for another day.
Have a great Friday everyone!
NO school today Thursday. Roads are still bad in some places for buses to travel.
Hardin County Schools will be open but on a two-hour delay on Thursday, January 22, 2926.
We know many parents still need to get to work, so doors will open at their normal time to welcome students. However, buses will run and classes will begin two hours later than usual.
We’ll be out checking the roads again first thing in the morning to ensure a safe commute for everyone!
****
For Heartland, that means students will need to be at school by 9:30AM As stated, above, our doors will open for students that need to be dropped off earlier than 9:30AM

Principals just received info from superintendent.
We will be running on a two hour delay tomorrow (Thursday). They will check the roads again in the morning just to be safe.
Per district policy, staff are required to arrive at regular contracted time. However, if roads are not good where you are please use your best judgement and take more time if you need. I just ask that you text or email so we don't worry about you when you don't sign in at your regular time.
They are going to announce that parents can drop off at regular time so we more than likely will have students showing up after 7:30AM or earlier. To start off, we will have students go to the cafeteria. Assistants that are available, please help us supervise those students. We can bring down puzzles, games etc. but NO technology. If the group gets too large, we will have to send back to classrooms.
Students that go to the cafeteria can go ahead and get breakfast and eat their breakfast while they wait.
There is a district training tomorrow too, so we will have quite a few subs in the building. Hopefully we can do our drills first thing Friday morning.
Be safe in your travels tomorrow.

We are so glad to see our students today.
Just a reminder that NTI work from last Friday's NTI day was due today. If your child did not turn their's in today, please make sure they turn it in as soon as possible. With this being the last week before break, we need to get attendance and participation logged with the district.
If your child's class is having family feast this week, please make sure you have pre-paid and returned your RSVP form. ID s will also need to be scanned before Wednesday to avoid standing in line.
It looks like the weather may be warming up this week! Stay safe and warm.
Have a great day and a great week.
